So I need more space in my room and I am tossing out old stuff and then i decided to play around a bit with these sprays! Remember Perfect Pearls Mist? I tried to find online inspo, seems like it is often misunderstood! Remember use MICA products on black for that glorious shine. On white or light papers, it’s a whole different color!

I should have swatched these earlier… the Memento Luxe is a rich mixed media pigment ink great on paper, fabric, wood, leather and more… check out the juice! They were not kidding when saying the color is rich!!!

Finally finished my Sydney album. Made this with leftover old scrapbook cardstock glued into an old fabric sample album 😆 yes, rescued these discarded sample packs from curtain shops !!! Didn’t have to match anything but tried to use up whatever from in front of me … which means my room needs some organizing so I can use those embellishments up!

It has been a while since I made technique videos. Resist embossing is great for making backgrounds on cards, journals, mixed media creations or scrapbooks. Just use some clear embossing powder and any mediums such as inks, sprays, watercolor paints will resist when colored over the embossed images.

Sadly this is the price to pay for printing photos BUT THEN nothing beats the convenience of printing what we want on the spot 😅 My weekly routine to get the printer going though I suspect the more I print the cost should be going down! Oh if only I had the time …

So today I decided to recycle the beautiful hard covers from some fabric catalog. I decided to use up my scrapbook cardstock as a base page and then decide how to decorate over them later. Haven’t decided the final outcome yet although I stuck on some mid way layouts 😅

I came across this magazine in a little obscure bookstore somewhere in London decades ago and that’s how I got inspired to try Art Journaling. The color, the freedom, the “no-rules” aspect or art, and the fact that I couldn’t even draw a straight line but yet they mesmerised me… I still have a few copies left from my previous subscriptions. And I know it can never be too old. Art doesn’t expire!

I see so many potentials in these stencils, just not enough time to actually execute them! are high quality 7mil Mylar, thick enough to be durable and last through countless projects (I know I don’t wash mine after use but they still last) made in USA. The collections are from various artists, giving plenty of style options. Use these with paints, sprays, mediums such as stencil pastes, chalks etc on any material you can think of!
