Ellie Zhou Ballet Studio has 25 years of establishment in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Ellie, graduated from the prestigious Royal Ballet School of London, Soloist with the Dusseldorf Dance Company in Germany and later became founder member of Singapore Dance Theatre. Zhou, joined Beijing's Arts and Dance Company, and promoted to Principal dancer at the age of 17. Arts critics have honoured him with t

he title 'Prince of Dance of the East'. In 1990, he was the first ever male dancer in China to stage his own solo performance on national broadcast throughout the country. In recognition of his achievements, Zhou Gui Xin has been listed in the distinguished "Contemporary Record of China's Famous People" and "Dictionary of the Arts". Ellie and Zhou are widely acknowledge in the dance circle for their contribution in uplifting the Performing Arts in Malaysia. Their passion for excellence has attracted students from near and afar. A number of Ellie Zhou students have won numerous prestigious ballet awards, and some have been invited to join various dance companies abroad upon graduation. Many are already full-time dance teachers.

Alumna Lee Jia Xi Founder and Director of Tarinao, is a well rounded brilliance who have also completed Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Psychology and Communications Arts, and Mastering Neuroscience with Kingโ€™s College London. She aims to deliver a holistic education in dance informed by the theories of psychology and neuroscience, and with ongoing engagement in the arts - through mentorship and shared wisdom has influenced and strengthen the bonds of our vibrant community.
