六坪工坊 G Six Studio 六坪工坊， 让艺术聚集，思考碰撞，拚发实验新火花 New and emerging creative individuals and groups have limited resources to access a conducive environment to train and perform in.

This is where our story begins…
The performing arts community in our city is growing, but most of the funding is focused on engaging reputable artists and organizations. Hence, G Six Studio was created. G Six Studio’s Ideology:
G Six Studio’s vision is to create a dynamic performing studio that is liberal, progressive, innovative, and full of diversity. We pride ourselves as a communication portal for artists from different mediums and backgrounds. G Six Studio aims to provide a well-equipped and safe platform for creative individuals and organizations to express their work, stimulate dialogue, exchange ideas and challenge performing possibilities. We strive to be the cradle of contemporary performing arts in Johor Bahru.

缘起：
近年来新山文创产业发展蓬勃，随着这样的趋势，却有许多资源投入在较速成的表面。像是现在新山有许多表演工作者他们如果不隶属於较有规模及知名度的团体，很难负担得起固定排练场地，造就了有许多流浪团体的现况。 因此，六坪工坊要提供场地租借給面临这种情况的团体，让他们不论在台上表演或台下练习，都有良好的场地使用，更专注於在艺术工作的发展。



理念：
六坪工坊不只是一个剧场，这里是一个平台、交流所、集会据点或是转运站，让各种不同专长的艺术家们聚集在一起、思考、对话、交换意见或碰撞出新的火花。工坊不局限于任何形式，甚至是实验性质的剧场作品，我们都愿意尝试。再者，也期盼为新山的小剧场提供专业性、服务性、创意性、国际性等多元面向的艺术创意与交流机会。期望重现「小剧场」前卫、实验、颠覆、跨界、创意、自由、多元的文化與空间，创造代表新山当代性的充沛力量。

編舞及表演者 - 王榮祿�
出生于马来西亚，为编舞家、表演者及教育工作者。 王氏为南群舞子创办团员，1997至2001年间出任南群舞子艺术总监一职。 2002年，王荣禄与周金毅成立不加锁舞踊馆，致力推广和普及现代舞。 王氏自创团起至2021年间出任不加锁舞踊馆艺术总监并由2022年起以创意总监（公众参与）一职继续参与舞团事务，专注外展及社区计划。�
Choreographer and Performer - Ong Yong Lock
*�Born in Malaysia, now is a choreographer, a performer, and an educator. Ong is a founder member of the South 'ASLI' Dance Workshop (SADW) and served as the Artistic Director between 1997 and 2001. In 2002, Ong founded the Unlock Dancing Plaza with Elsie Chau. He has been the Artistic Director for almost two decades since its establishment in 2002 and has been dedicated to promoting and popularizing modern dance. In 2022, he has taken on the role of Creative Director (Public Engagement), focusing on outreach and community projects.

独立电影人，大专修读平面设计，其后学习纪录片，至今一直从事影像创作。 个人作品《团团圆》曾获得2019年ifva公开组金奖。 阿盛擅长剪接，风格即兴多变。 近年更涉足舞蹈影像的创作，《A Rock》获得奥地利第5届Dance On Screen Film Festival的评审奖。 他曾任中国独立纪录片研究会的制作助理，现为1930 collective的创团成员之一。 他与叶奕蕾合导的《房间404》，入围2024柏林影展Forum Expanded单元。
Filmmaker - Shing Lee�
*Shing Lee studied Visual Communication and started his career as an independent filmmaker after graduation. In 2019, he won the Gold Award at the ifva Festival with “Family Family Day”. Lee is well known for his diversified improvisation and experimental video-editing style. In recent years, he started to create dance videos. His work “A Rock” won the Jury Prize at the 5th Dance On Screen Film Festival. Lee was the Production Assistant of Chinese Independent Documentary Lab. He is one of the founding members of an independent film ensemble 1930 collective.His recent film Room 404, co-directed with Elysa Wendi has been selected to the 74th Berlinale Forum Expanded.

Of Stone and Flower - Performance & Screening

《石与花》 - 演出及放映

Batu Pahat, in Malay, means “stone” and is the birthplace of Ong Yong Lock. Flowers symbolize the connection between Ong and his mother in Malaysia. Ong, an established dancer-choreographer now based in Hong Kong, uses “stone” and “flower” as metaphors to explore the intersections between objects and lives, the eternal and the transient, the solid and the delicate, the enduring and the ever-changing. He will collaborate with filmmaker Shing Lee to document his return journey to Batu Pahat and create a dance video titled “Of Stone and Flower,” unraveling embodied history amidst fleeting memories and vanishing landscapes.


峇株巴辖在马来语中意为「石头」，是王荣禄的出生地。花朵象征着王荣禄与他在马来西亚的母亲之间的联系。现居香港的舞者兼编舞王荣禄，以「石头」和「花朵」为隐喻，探索物与生命、永恒与短暂、坚硬与柔美、持久与变化之间的交汇。他将与影像创作者李伟盛合作，记录他回到峇株巴轄的旅程，并创作舞蹈影像《石与花》，在流逝的记忆和消逝的风景中揭示身体化的历史。
