This album features photos taken from an old film camera that was released in 1977, the Ricoh 500GX. This album also features photos taken from a camera that I had to put together myself in a DIY kit.

The photos are original scans from the film strip and have not in anyway been retouched or enhanced. What you see are original film effects/colors.

While my aim is to shoot more abstract photos, there will be the occasional photo with a subject.

This morning I put on the Tamron 17-35mm f2.8-4 for a time lapse of sunrise. Still have yet to figure out the best settings to use for sunrise. Hopefully I'll be able to figure something out from today's result.

Shot a time lapse of today's sunset with the Nikkor 50mm f1.8 today. Turned out quite good~

Just bought the Nikkor 50mm f1.8. Would've bought the f1.4 lens, but just don't have the cash. I'll settle with this for now. Next target: Nikkor 24-70mm f2.8!

What was excitement and anxious-ness turned into disappointment. The previous roll of film that I loaded into the Ricoh 500GX wasn't winding properly and all I ended up with was a blank roll of film. :(

Framed some pretty nice shoots too. *sigh* Oh well, what's done is done. Hopefully the new roll that I put in will have no problems. *fingers crossed*

Here it is! The long awaited/overdue time lapse test that I did last year.

There is a slight appearance of vignetting at 00:11 and its disappearance at 00:18. That was me putting on a rain cover to protect my camera.

Also, during the first few seconds of the video, Premiere Pro wasn't able to stabilize the video as well as the rest of the video which resulted in a slight rotation of the video. But overall it's quite stable.

As I said, this was a test of the time lapse function on the D800. Still need to figure out the exposure settings for optimum exposure, but nonetheless, I'm quite happy with the way this video turned out~

This has been long overdue, but the timelapse video I did months back is currently being stabilized and rendered~
