This is one of the finest portraits of Pablo Picasso I have seen in recent years by Malaysian artist Ismadi. Painted in 2014, the work is executed in oil on canvas, measuring 30 × 40 inches. The painting is characterised by an expressionist approach with Fauvist colour sensibilities, and was created using both palette knife and brush.
