2026 STP【I’m just a little unwell】| Closing Night: More Than a Performance
The final performance of 【I’m Just a little unwell】 concluded successfully on Saturday evening, bringing a meaningful journey to a heartfelt close.
Following the overwhelming response to Opening Night, the 2nd show was once again greeted by an almost full house. More audience members came not only to watch a performance, but to be part of a conversation that matters.
Over the past two evenings, what took place at iBOX Theatre felt like more than theatre. It became a gathering of people who care — artists, volunteers, advocates, supporters, and audience members coming together through a shared belief that stories can create understanding, compassion, and connection.
The cast delivered powerful and sincere performances throughout the production. Many first-time performers also rose to the occasion with remarkable confidence and emotional depth, leaving a lasting impression on those in attendance.
We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Still Thinking Production for bringing this important work to the stage, and to Befrienders Penang for their invaluable partnership in supporting mental health awareness and helping audiences better understand emotional wellbeing.
The production was supported by Triple I Production House & IBOX Theatre, providing the venue and facilitating its staging. It was an honour to be part of this meaningful work as venue support.
As the curtain falls, the conversations do not end.
Befrienders Penang continues to provide free and confidential emotional support to anyone facing loneliness, distress, or emotional difficulties. Their presence throughout this production reminds us that support is always available, and that reaching out is never a sign of weakness.
More importantly, we hope this production encourages all of us to continue looking out for one another. Sometimes, a simple conversation, a listening ear, or a sincere question can make a meaningful difference in someone's life.
To everyone who attended, supported, shared, volunteered, collaborated, and believed in this project — thank you. Your presence helped transform these two nights into something far greater than a performance.
The show has ended, but the care we show one another can continue long after the lights go down.
❤️ Thank you for being part of this journey.
