In this work, ‘Sureq Galigo’ will be used as source of inspiration to our material. An epic creation myth of the Bugis from South Sulawesi evolved through oral tradition which is sung on important occasions. Artist Aco Ridzwan

is one of the rare who practices ‘Sureq Galigo’ to preserves one of his identity traits. On the other hand, Atsushi who learn and teaches Japanese Dance Drama a.k.a Japan traditional dances (formerly performed only by Women), has embodied these dances and will be sharing his training in this collaboration. She was brought up living Kadazandusun culture, during her childhood. With this three inspiring backgrounds, memories is what we’ve left and only way to keep this alive in us is to find the continuity in ways we can explore, share, present and execute.
