Facebook has Unjustly Disabled the Facebook & Instagram account of K. Kavi Nanthan (Director of Venpa) & Insta page of Vadai Productions.
I’m writing this post as an appeal for fairness and transparency from Facebook, a platform I’ve trusted and supported for over 15 years.
Recently, my personal Facebook account was wrongly disabled with claims of violating Facebook’s human rights policies. However, I was given no proof, no explanation, and no chance to defend myself. Along with my Facebook account, my Instagram account and my film production Insta page, Vadai Productions which I painstakingly built over the years, were also taken down.
This is not just about losing an account. It’s about losing access to years of irreplaceable memories, photos, and personal data, as well as the platform I use to engage with my audience and grow my professional brand. Facebook has no right to withhold my personal photos and banking information without due process or justification.
The so-called action against “human rights violations” is hypocritical when Facebook itself violates users’ rights by not providing:
- Clear justification for account disabling.
- A proper opportunity to appeal or defend.
- Respect for user data and personal assets.
To add insult to injury, Facebook’s flawed linked account system (Account Centre) has dragged down all my associated accounts without any logical connection. My film production page has nothing to do with my personal account, yet it was also taken down unfairly.
This could very well be an act of sabotage by someone targeting me as a public figure, but instead of conducting a fair investigation, Facebook unilaterally disabled my accounts without even hearing my side.
This is a blatant breach of my rights as a user and a creator. Facebook, your ever-changing policies are impossible to track, and loyal users like me are the ones paying the price for your inefficiency.
I demand immediate action to review my case, restore my accounts, and provide a clear explanation. Facebook, you owe your users transparency and fairness.
I request the help of my friends and followers to help me make this go viral. The voices of users need to be heard. Tag Facebook, share this post, and demand accountability.
Regards,
K. Kavi Nanthan
