The new Michael Jackson biopic is out in cinemas right now. Back in the 80s when he was at his hottest, that was exactly when I first got into Western pop music as a kid. His music videos back then were absolutely mind-blowing.

Of course, the birth of the King of Pop wasn't accidental. Besides his behind-the-scenes team, his music creation wasn't just about talent. The wild ideas in his head, along with his iconic dance moves and the way he interpreted rhythm and sound, all felt completely natural.

Now, let's recreate how early Michael Jackson's Vocal Chain was put together. I compiled this by combining online behind-the-scenes interviews with info from music magazines.

If you are a Slate Digital Complete Access user, you already have the software needed to do this. You can also substitute them with similar analog emulations from other brands. Purely sharing my notes here, feel free to discuss or share your go-to alternative plugins in the comments.

Here is our newly completed corporate video for Team Printers. First off, a huge thanks to the team at Zoewebs for bringing Shishoki Production on board as the video crew for this project.

We tried out some new AI workflows for this video. It definitely opened up our imagination, but behind the scenes, it was far from a magic button. Getting the final results right meant days and nights of trial and error, tweaking prompts, waiting for generations, and constantly adjusting until it matched our exact vision.

It takes a surprising amount of human effort to actually steer the technology, but we are really proud of what we managed to achieve.

This might be the craziest song I have ever been involved in. It is totally out of my music knowledge.

Recorded, mixed and mastered this over a solid month in the studio. It was a mind burning journey of communicating, tweaking and trying to figure out the direction without a clear picture.

Glad it is finally released and the work is done.

Untuk sesi kali ini, Omara Production telah membawa Abass Mamu (Abass Bakar) untuk rakaman gitar. Sekali beliau petik gitar, terus terasa nostalgia zaman kegemilangan muzik 60-an. Bunyi yang asli sebegini memang mengimbau kenangan manis era tersebut.

We had the privilege of handling the recording, mixing, and mastering for this year’s graduation song of Chung Ling High School, Butterworth.

When we first received the demo, we were impressed by how complete and polished the arrangement sounded—we honestly thought it was done by a professional arranger. To our surprise, it was fully crafted by the graduating students themselves at home using Cubase, along with an impressive range of professional-grade virtual instruments.

Throughout the production, the students showed remarkable dedication, constantly discussing with us how to refine their work. For 17-year-olds to self-learn and reach this level is truly commendable. With time and perseverance, we believe they will shine even brighter in the music industry.

And to the graduates, our heartfelt congratulations, let the music of your youth continue to inspire your journey ahead.
