"I play Eileen, the wife of Prabu. Being a person of a different ethnicity and part of their family dynamics and culture, sometimes, in carrying this character, even without the lines saying very much, you kind of question whether she truly feels like part of the family or whether she sees herself as an outsider.
"Because of the things she sees as different, she sometimes feels disconnected. But in reality, all families are not that different. Everybody carries their own emotional baggage and wounds. And it all comes out when something difficult happens in the family and hard conversations need to be had.
"Every family goes through this messiness and chaos. So come and watch. Come and be moved and engaged. And perhaps most importantly, come and feel validated by the glorious messiness that is family."
