蜡染灯笼彩绘回来啦！

不知不觉，J Batik Malaysia 做 Batik灯笼已经10年了。今年终于做了一个新款，圆圆的，有点可爱，手柄也是用布料慢慢缠出来的。「 #蜡染灯笼」的主题围绕着马来西亚熟悉的文化与佳节元素！

这次特别选在 9月16日马来西亚日和大家一起庆祝。🇲🇾

Batik Lantern Painting is back！It’s been 10 years since we started making these lanterns. This year, we finally made a new shape, it's round, cute, with a little fabric handle twisted by hand. We’re celebrating on Malaysia Day, 16 September. Come paint one with us, watch the sunset, take a walk by the Riverwalk and light up your lantern together. ❤️

不知不觉，Batu Pahat in Art and Words一个月的展期已来到尾声了。今天我们迎接了华仁中学的陶艺社学员，一起走进画廊探索六位创作者呈现的多元艺术媒材。还没来得 visit的朋友要把握这最后几天， 期待在展览结束前见到你们！

Can't believe we're already down to the final few days of our month-long "Batu Pahat in Art and Words". It's been so nice meeting everyone who stopped by! Today we hosted the Chinese High School pottery club as they came to explore work across different mediums by our six artists. If you haven't dropped by yet, hope to see you before we wrap up!

这次工作坊由近期驻村艺术家 Ingrid Cheng 带领。拥有当代艺术创作背景的她，也一直喜欢探索粉彩这个媒介。她会从粉彩本身的特性出发，带大家慢慢认识它、掌握它，也在创作的过程中找到属于自己的表达方式。

If you were to imagine a mandala as a flower, what would your own unique bloom look like?

Starting in September, we are launching our Pastel Art Class! This class is guided by none other than our recent resident artist, Ingrid Cheng. With her background in contemporary art and love of pastel mediums, the class will be uniquely designed for people who wish to master the character of the medium and have a slow time creating art.

Beyond creating a beautiful mandala, this course introduces a variety of new techniques taught through step-by-step, small-class guidance- inspiring fresh ideas and empowering your artistic journey.

还记得小时候奶奶用钩针做的饮料袋吗？那时的水壶袋没有什么特别的设计但很好用，而我们用着的同时也知道这是家人亲手做给我们的。

前阵子和 mumusanri 木木三日 聊到钩针手作，她很喜欢研究毛线和手作。我们马上就想起这些小时候见过的小袋子。这次在 Riverfront Art Center 做 #钩针饮料提袋工作坊, 会从基本针法开始带大家完成。材料和步骤指南都会准备好方便大家回家后继续做。

喜欢艺术的朋友，这星期是 《Batu Pahat in Art and Words》展出的最后一个星期了。

六位创作者用不同的方式在峇株巴辖创作，作品包括声音艺术装置、粉彩曼陀罗、蜡染、陶艺、油画、速写、诗与小说。

如果还没来过，趁作品还在，过来走走吧，也许您会遇见一件刚好喜欢的作品。（参观艺术展无需付费，如要报名艺术工作坊需提前预约）

分享这周工作的小点滴。这个月的展览，我们每天在八渡艺象见到许多小朋友大朋友。展览也来到最后几天了，欢迎大家有空过来坐坐，有好几位朋友说这次的的艺术展是甜的，那么相信它应该可以稀释大家生活中的苦味。
