Yesterday, I bought myself and the kids the N95 mask by RespoKare. It was a little bit expensive, but they had the ones that could fit a child's face. So without thinking much, I bought a pack of 3 for RM38. Yes, I feel that it is a little expensive, especially when the 3M one was just about RM6, but I thought it was better to get a good fit for my kids instead of save a few ringgit.

I am also using a blend of essential oils for inhalation -- my Happy Stick! I just feel that it's helped to give me some freshness to the air I breathe. Because of the antibacterial and antiviral properties of the oils I use, I am hoping that they will help to keep me going for the rest of the week during this hazy period.

Are you a coffee or tea person? I admit I like both for various reasons and on different occasions.

There are days when you just want a gritty cup of Joe to wash away unsavoury feelings from your heart.

And there are days you just want to feel dainty with a cup of light-coloured tea to sip.

Today, I made this special blend of tea out of dried botanicals from my garden -- butterfly pea flowers, pandan leaves and soursop leaves.

And as a final touch, a few drops of bergamot essential oil. My, it really gives a citrusy scent that pairs so well with the sweetness of the pandan aroma.

I'm letting this blend get to know each other overnight and brew it tomorrow.

Sometimes I get to work in the jungle. Learning about new ingredients, getting inspiration for my soaps and skincare.

I make body lotions that have helped people heal and get relief from various uncomfortable skin conditions.

I use jojoba oil, glycerin, aloe vera, vitamin e and calamine powder in making this lotion. These are all ingredients that are soothing to skin.
