The Ecopez National Rabbit Show – MARBA Show Circuit Round 3 has officially come to an end, and we couldn’t have asked for a better event!

To every member, exhibitor, supporter, and volunteer—thank you for making this show such an incredible success. Seeing so many beautiful rabbits, passionate breeders, and familiar faces all under one roof is what makes this community so special.

A heartfelt thank you to our guest judge, Wuttichai Thongnopakao from Siam Rabbit and Cavy Association / KB Rabbit, for travelling to Malaysia and sharing your valuable knowledge, experience, and expertise with our rabbit community. Your guidance has inspired many breeders, and we are truly grateful to have had you with us.

🐰 Beh & Yo Rabbit Quality Grading Standard

Selection & Breeding Framework

All rabbits are from purebred lines and evaluated based on ARBA Breed Standard SOP compliance.
Classification reflects structure, genetics, and breeding purpose — not value or worth.

🟢 PET QUALITY

Rabbits that do not meet breed standard requirements.

* May have DQ (Disqualification) or multiple faults
* Lowest conformity to breed standard
* Common issues: weight imbalance, ear/body proportion faults, fur/colour/marking errors, bone structure deviation

📌 Role: Companion animals only
✖ Not used in structured breeding selection

🟡 BROOD QUALITY (BREEDING QUALITY)

Rabbits suitable for controlled breeding programs.

* May have minor DQ or no DQ
* Moderate conformity to breed standard
* Possible traits: slight structural imbalance, mild deviations, still genetically valuable

📌 Role: Breeding selection & trait improvement
⚠ Requires careful pairing

🔵 SHOW QUALITY

Rabbits closest to ARBA breed standard excellence.

* No DQ (eligible for show competition)
* Highest structural conformity
* May still have minor imperfections (no rabbit is perfect)

📌 Role: Show competition & elite breeding programs

🧬 CORE PRINCIPLE

* Classification is based on breed standard compliance, not value or worth
* Every rabbit has a defined role in ethical breeding
* Based on structure, genetics, and long-term improvement
* All breeds follow their own ARBA SOP standards

适用于受控繁殖计划的兔子。

* 中等品种标准符合度
* 可能存在轻微结构偏差，但仍具遗传价值

🔵 赛级（Show Quality）

最接近ARBA品种标准的兔子。

* 无DQ（可参加比赛）
* 结构符合度最高
* 仍可能存在轻微不完美（没有完美兔子）

Kerangka Pemilihan & Pembiakan

Semua arnab berasal daripada baka tulen dan dinilai berdasarkan SOP baka ARBA.
Penggredan ini berdasarkan struktur, genetik dan tujuan pembiakan — bukan nilai haiwan.

🟢 KUALITI PET

Arnab yang tidak memenuhi standard baka.

* Mungkin mempunyai DQ (diskualifikasi) atau beberapa kecacatan
* Kesesuaian paling rendah dengan standard baka
* Contoh: berat tidak tepat, struktur telinga/badan tidak seimbang, warna atau corak salah, struktur tulang tidak betul

📌 Peranan: Haiwan peliharaan
✖ Tidak digunakan dalam pembiakan terancang

🟡 KUALITI PEMBIAKAN (BROOD QUALITY)

Sesuai untuk program pembiakan terkawal.

* Mungkin mempunyai DQ kecil atau tiada DQ
* Kesesuaian sederhana dengan standard baka
* Mungkin ada sedikit kelemahan struktur tetapi masih bernilai genetik

📌 Peranan: Pembiakan & penambahbaikan baka
⚠ Perlu pemilihan pasangan yang teliti

🔵 KUALITI PERTUNJUKAN (SHOW QUALITY)

Paling hampir dengan standard ARBA.

* Tiada DQ (layak pertandingan)
* Kesesuaian struktur paling tinggi
* Masih mungkin ada ketidaksempurnaan kecil (tiada arnab sempurna)

📌 Peranan: Pertandingan & pembiakan elit

🧬 PRINSIP ASAS

* Penggredan berdasarkan standard baka, bukan nilai
* Setiap arnab mempunyai peranan tersendiri
