🔥 Palm Torch Fusion: Foundations & Choreo
SATURDAY • 2:45–3:45 PM
This workshop introduces the fundamentals of dancing with palm torches in the tribal fusion belly dance style. A juicy choreography will be taught that weaves together the movements explored in class. ✨
🦋 Transform Your Silk Fans into Silk Veil Poi
FRIDAY • 8:30–9:30 PM

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to convert your silk fans into silk fan poi by securely attaching (provided) strings and hardware. I will guide you step by step through the process of measuring, gluing, and reinforcing connection points to ensure durability, balance, and safe spinning. Workshop participants should bring their own silk fans for upgrading, or purchase from the vendors onsite if applicable. A few movements & techniques will be taught while the glue dries along with recommendations for practice.
The poi attachments can be removed when needed. No prior crafting experience necessary.
