I make it a point - and sometimes it is a concerted effort - to smile at everyone I pass on my morning walks. I think it's important to make that connection, however brief, with people who are on the same road whatever their motivation to be there might be. Everyone is going through their own struggles - yet they are still out there on the path and putting in the effort. I want them to know that I appreciate that; I'm on the road, too. It's not always easy.

You can see Colombia Lagoon and the Punta Celarain lighthouse way off in the distance.

Did you know that the body of water in the Punta Sur Eco Park that most of know as Laguna Colombia is actually 3 lagoons???
