4 pm Monday ART Vallarta. The inauguration of the GAY Galleria at ART VallARTa. A powerful group of important artists and a week of events to follow. Monday is particularly exciting as it is the inaugural and we are celebrating th rights of the LGBTO communities rights in the ART Norld. GAY Galleria and ART Vallarta is a safe open art exploration location where evervone is welcome and has opportunities. No fear and total acceptance. This is the time to Stand and say NO to the abuses any ousiness and institution who is against free artistic expression and speech. As a kind and inclusive not for profit and feel the message is an absolute.

Los participantes explorarán la fusión de dos tradiciones gráficas ricas en historia:
Fundamentos: Lección sobre las bases históricas y estéticas del grabado lubok.
Técnica: Manejo correcto del linóleo y sus herramientas de corte.
Creación: Producción de una estampa original desde cero.
Acabado: Aplicación de color con acuarelas para un resultado único.
Resultado final: Una obra con una profunda carga narrativa y un vibrante carácter folclórico.

Course Description
Participants will explore the fusion of two historical graphic traditions:
Foundations: A lesson on the historical and aesthetic roots of lubok printmaking.
Technique: Proper use of linoleum and carving tools.
Creation: Producing an original print from scratch.
Finishing: Adding color with watercolors for a unique final touch.
Final Result: A finished work with a strong narrative power and a vibrant folk character.

With a very sad heart, we share the passing of one of our beautiful Museo Cats. Stash only a year old, died likely of lymphona. He was semi feral and he and his mom felt very safe in the Museo garden. Visitors to the museo loved them as furry greeters. Stash was named for his beautiful orange colored mustache. Which he wore very proudly. His Mother was always near him as he was playing in the jardin. He stopped eating and was luthargic so for the last 8 days he was given top notch medical care and a loving home and environment at ART Vallarta. We had no idea how extensive the desease was through his young body and tried anti boitics and lots of love. He would seem back on track and then stop eatting and decline. What a lover and a fighter. An Old Soul in a small orange body. We are so sad but greatful to have had this gigantic kitty spirit in our lives at the Museo.
