Taller 💙“TEÑIDO CON AÑIL ORGÁNICO Y SHIBORI” 💙
Impartido por Isabel Gijón de .mx ; Diseñadora de modas, artísta plástica y fundadora de NACUANDA, un proyecto de experimentación, producción textil y marca de ropa que parte de técnicas artesanáles como teñido natural, estampado botánico, bordado y patchwork usando fibras y materiales naturales.
Durante este taller aprenderas a crear una tina de añil natural desde cero, cómo teñir con ella y mantenerla para seguir tiñendo por un largo tiempo.
Además, experimentaras con 4 técnicas diferentes de Shibori; una técnica japonesa que consiste en doblar, atar, apretar y pellizcar la tela de maneras diferentes para minimizar la cantidad de tinte que entra en el tejido, creando así patrones una vez abierta.

Workshop 💙“DYEING WITH ORGANIC INDILE AND SHIBORI” 💙
Taught by Isabel Gijón from .mx; Fashion designer, plastic artist and founder of NACUANDA, an experimentation, textile production and clothing brand project that is based on artisanal techniques such as natural dyeing, botanical printing, embroidery and patchwork using natural fibers and materials.
During this workshop you will learn how to create a vat of natural indigo from scratch, how to dye with it and maintain it to continue dyeing for a long time.
Additionally, you will experiment with 4 different Shibori techniques; a Japanese technique that involves folding, tying, squeezing and pinching fabric in different ways to minimize the amount of dye entering the fabric, thus creating patterns once opened.
