We spent the morning exploring Pipe Dreams, the holiday make studio at Tate Modern.

The turbine hall has been filled metal structures, pipes and tubes. Everyone is given a ball upon entering the space, and we created large ball runs and mazes. The space has been designed by and we had so much fun!

Highly recommend you visit it this week!

I had the chance to attend two museum tours last week and felt so excited to step back inside Ipswich Museum after many years!

Firstly on a family tour led by which was brilliant, we even saw the artefacts inside the museum storage! Then on a teacher’s tour with the education team 💓

I was happy to see it so beautifully restored, with the original paintwork colour scheme and display cases. The clever LED skylight will bring light into the main room without damaging the displays 🥲 They discovered beautiful original tile flooring and fireplaces during the refurb, and I can’t wait until it opens properly next year!!

So happy this gem will be open again, I have many memories here as a child, and can’t wait to see all the new plans come together ✨✨

So excited to be one of the artists selected to take part in this year’s Jubilant! Youth Arts Festival in collaboration with , and 💖

This year’s theme is Revolution, and I’ve been spending time with a group of Year 5 students exploring the things that matter most to them, looking at how artists and activists have shared powerful messages throughout history, and thinking about how art can be used to raise awareness and inspire positive change in our communities (and beyond!)

Dream-world collage ✨

I ran this workshop at during a holiday camp. My pop up art club sessions often include some sort of light play and unusual objects to explore, alongside art-making.

We started with neon photocopied landscapes. I invited the children to imagine what lived in each of the worlds, and add layers to the paper using posca pens, nature stickers, washi tape and jewels.

The process was so magical ✨

Art Club CDMX has officially come to a close. We’ve moved out of the studio, and I’ll be heading back to England in a couple of weeks.

I’m so proud of the Art Club project, grateful for this creative community, and feel incredibly lucky to have had the chance to call Mexico City home for the past nine years 🫶

If you’re looking for a space for your child to continue their art journey, I highly recommend - a new Reggio Emilia-inspired, bilingual studio in Roma Sur.

We’ve been quietly working alongside our friends at to support the launch of their awesome new space. Tiny Lab has grown out of the same philosophy and passion that shaped Art Club, and we think of it as our tiny sister studio, ready to welcome your artists this summer!

Tiny Lab is hosting some AMAZING Art Camps for ages 5-11, so if you were planning to spend your summer with us, I encourage you to reach out to them today! ✨

As many of you know, I’ll be leaving Mexico soon, and I’d love to invite you to a special gathering this Saturday to say goodbye and celebrate the past few years of Art Club!

I’ve recently received news that the studio lease will not be renewed as an art workshop space. While this means a sudden farewell to our beloved studio, I’m excited to introduce you to the wonderful team who will be continuing the spirit of our work in a new location.

Let’s meet to make art, play, win prizes, chat, celebrate, and say goodbye 💛 Open to families of all ages!
