I paid $11,600 for a new walkway and they delivered me a concrete centipede with polka dots. 😂🪱 Those perfect little circles marching down the middle look like the sidewalk is about to start breathing, and the whole thing is so long and straight it feels like a runway for ants. 🐜✈️ The worker is down there carefully adjusting one ring like it’s a diamond setting, meanwhile I’m trying to understand why my path looks like it needs cup holders every three feet. 🥤😭

Hey guys, do you know where i can buy a cover that has the light switch on the right and the outlet on the left? Every supply store ive checked, even lowes and home depot, only have the reverse. At this point I'm thinking I may need to just swap them in the box.

How would I cut this cabinet would, barely?

I ordered a new fridge for my kitchen, not realizing that only one side fit as the prior owner cut it and it’s uneven. I used an orbital sander but that didn’t do much. I also tried to lower the fridge but it as low as it goes. What tool would you use to take off more of this? Should I use a different sander or a different tool?

Fiance sprayed bug spray in oven clock hole; oven now doesn't work, but stove top does. How do I fix it? This is the stupidest post I've ever had to make, but here we are. There was a break in the clock face before, but he cut a bigger opening into the clock and sprayed bug spray in the clock hole to kill a gnat while I was at work. The stove top burners still work, but the oven won't turn on. We live with his cousins and they're expecting us to pay for a whole new oven if I can't fix it.

Doors fitted - need advice

Hi all, finished 2 rooms in my house recently and did everything in them myself but chose to get the doors fitted by someone else, so used a guy that has done a lot of work for a friend's family. It was the final touches to the rooms I've worked tirelessly on and their work has left me feeling just simply low. Agreed £250 before the job started, i had fitted all the door frames, just required the doors, the stops and hardware fitting. The issues are;

- One door has been left with wood wax filled by hinges which I can only assume they did wrong initially
- Screws not flush with the hinge plates, rounded bit off at the top of one door (i can't guarantee it was them and not manfucture)
- One door when placed half way open closes on its own
- One hinge has been cut in too deep compared the frame
- One door has a gradually expanding gap across the top
- Latch not flush
- Lastly the scratched paint and dented the wood on an alcove cabinet I built which leaves me with more work to re do and paint to buy again

Could I get some genuine recommendations on what would be the best course of action going forward as I have yet to pay please?

Every single person in NEPA owns this pan. You don’t buy it. It appears. One day you open a cabinet in Wilkes-Barre, Scranton, Hazleton, wherever, and there it is, warped, blackened, seasoned with 60 years of pierogi grease, halushki runoff, and emotional trauma. Your grandma has one and will fight you if you try to wash it “too good.” It’s been to more holidays than you, survived fish Fridays, burnt cookies, frozen pizzas at 3am, and at least one cigarette mysteriously set on the stove.

Somehow it’s in every rental property too, like landlords legally have to include it. Move apartments. New pan, same pan. It’s indestructible. You could drop it down the Moosic Street incline, hit it with a PennDOT plow, or leave it in the oven for six hours and it’d still come out ready to cook kielbasa. We all have one. We all know it. And if you say you don’t, check the bottom drawer. It’s there. Waiting.

I feel so defeated. 😞 I hired a 'professional' to run gas to my garage so I could work out there in the winter. I paid him $800 upfront. I came home to find this: he blocked the outlet I need for my tools. When I called him, he said, 'You didn't say you needed to use the plug,' and hung up. Now I have to pay someone else to move it. I cannot afford this.
