Salir en la portada de Architectural Digest México, la revista más importante de arquitectura y diseño del país, es un sueño hecho realidad. Una de mis esculturas forma parte de esta edición especial, y verla en la portada es un momento que nunca olvidaré.
Hace años era solo una idea… hoy, una realidad tangible.

Gracias infinitas a quienes han creído en mi trabajo y a AD por esta oportunidad.

El camino apenas comienza.

Being featured on the cover of Architectural Digest Mexico, the country’s leading architecture and design magazine, is a dream come true. One of my sculptures is part of this special edition, and seeing it on the cover is a moment I’ll never forget. What started as a distant idea is now a tangible reality.

Carved from warm orange onyx and placed upon snow, this sculpture becomes a dialogue between worlds. It evokes a communion between the ancestral and the contemporary, the warm south and the cold north. Inspired by pre-hispanic geometries, the form carries echoes of ancient Mesoamerican cultures while confronting a foreign, icy landscape.

The contrast between stone and snow speaks of migration of materials, forms, and meanings that travel across latitudes. In this encounter, cultures do not dissolve; they converse. This piece is a testament to how memory and matter can find harmony in unfamiliar terrain.
