Esmeralda Flores Marcial - Psychoemotional support
Esme is a transinclusive feminist lawyer and human rights defender. She is a specialist in gender and return migration; she had the opportunity to collaborate in spaces such as ; and, ODA, ; in addition to handling pro bono cases with a collective called Abogadas GDH.
Being a migrant woman, she also participates in community organizing spaces where collective and intersectional care is necessary; for which she has been trained through various courses in emotional accompaniment and narrative practices. Her collaboration with La Cápsula project consisted on carrying out various collaborative workshops, contributing to building a safe and listening space for the migrants who participated in the project. This way we ensured to amplify their voices; that they told their story; and changed the narrative of the universal and unique history and fought against academic extractivism.
