Bodie Kellogg and I had an absolutely wonderful time writing and then putting into production My Big Fat Mexican Murder. Thanks so much to all of you who came along and allowed us to have such a great time.
The shows have wound up for the moment. Already we are missing doing them. But since bookings started to slow down we have been kept very busy spending almost all our time in working on writing and getting ready for production, the new show. It is The Hacienda Homicide – Murder in Mexico. The 1st draft (very much a 1st draft, and which will have many and dramatic changes before becoming the final version) is done.
It will be helpful to us to have other people read several of the parts. That will allow us to have a more objective view. If you have an interest in acting, script writing, being a critic, or seeing how any of this is done, you might be happy to come along (to our Casa) on Friday of this week, that is 3rd April, at 2:30. I would expect that we will all be going home by 5 o'clock at the latest.
Anyone interested should RSVP. The address is along the left hand side of the page, a couple of inches down from the top, including a map. It is just near the Colegio el Pacifico above Olas Altas. If you ask, we can let you have a paragraph or two on where the best place is to park.
