OTTO SAUTER, UNO DE LOS SOLISTAS DE TROMPETA MÁS RECONOCIDOS DEL MUNDO EN EL TEATRO ÁNGELA PERALTA.
Uno de los solistas de trompeta más notables del mundo, el alemán Otto Sauter se presentará en este puerto como solista invitado de la Camerata Mazatlán, el viernes 10 de marzo, a las 20:00 horas en el Teatro Ángela Peralta.
“Conciertos para Trompeta y Orquesta” es el nombre del programa que fluirá bajo la batuta del director huésped Sergio Freeman y que contará con la actuación del trompetista Jorge Mejía.
La Camerata Mazatlán interpretará un programa conformado por: Trumpet Tune y Trumpet Voluntary (trompetista Jorge Mejía); Concerto No. 2 in Dmajor – Johann M. Molter; Divertimento para Orquesta; Adagio – Alessandro Marcello; Suite ‘Holberg’ para orquesta de cuerdas – Edward Grieg y Concierto Dmajor – Gerorg P. Telemann.
Otto Sauter es solista de trompeta especializado en el piccolo de esa familia instrumental y en la música barroca.
Fue primer trompetista de la Orquesta Filarmónica de Bremen, fundó el Festival Internacional de Trompeta de Bremen del que es director artístico. El festival ha ofrecido conciertos en los que han participado Montserrat Caballé, Maurice André y Ray Charles, entre otros.
Actuó junto a la Filarmónica de Londres en el Palacio de St. James, en presencia del Príncipe Carlos. Actuó en 1998 con ocasión de la inauguración de la Sociedad Alemana para la Restauración del Tesoro Artístico del Vaticano.
Actuó con la Philharmonia Hungarica para el Papa Juan Pablo II en la Plaza de San Pedro, durante la Festa Musica Pro Mundo VNO, así como la Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional de China y Filarmónica de Berlín, entre otras.
Además de su trabajo como solista, Otto Sauter se presenta con su agrupación instrumental Ten of the Best (Diez de los Mejores), que fundó en 1991 y reúne a diez de los mejores trompetistas de la actualidad.

Through EMI Classics, Sauter began recording "World of Barroque" with concertos from his collection - rediscovered compositions from the Baroque and early Classicism - not performed in the last 250 years.
