Amigos,
With the new spring season, change is in the air, for so many all around ⚡️
Unfortunately, we had to close Cafe Iyari sooner than we had hoped this year. We have received news that the house in which we are currently in has sold and we have to move on. So we will be working on making the changes over the next month and getting settled into a new space. When we are ready, we hope to be able to open a new version of our beautiful little garden cafe. We will let everyone know when it happens!
Also, at the same time, our Saturday morning story circles are currently on hold as El Centro de La Gente is also changing locations over the next few weeks. As soon as they are settled in their new home, we will be starting up our story hour again.
In light of those big changes, there are also so many GRAND projects and initiatives bubbling out there that we are so proud to be part of. We can't wait to share!
With all of this transition, it really makes us realize that Casa Iyari Lo de Marcos is bigger than a physical space. We always knew that this was not the forever home for the project and are inspired and motivated to find that permanent location for all that we have planned.
Thank you for supporting us and sharing what we do with others and coming to the cafe and donating supplies and bringing your kids to the story hour and opening your hearts to what our vision is.

Con la nueva temporada de primavera, el cambio está en el aire, se siente fuerte, verdad? ️
Desafortunadamente, tuvimos que cerrar el Café Iyari antes de lo que esperábamos este año. Hemos recibido noticias de que la casa en la que estamos actualmente se ha vendido y tenemos que seguir con lo que sigue. Así que trabajaremos para hacer los cambios durante el próximo mes y para instalarnos en un nuevo espacio. Cuando estemos listos, esperamos poder abrir una nueva versión de nuestro hermoso y pequeño café. Vamos a avisar a todos cuando suceda!
Además, al mismo tiempo, nuestros círculos de cuentos de los sábados están en pausa, ya que El Centro de la Gente también está cambiando de ubicación en las próximas semanas. Tan pronto como se instalen en su nuevo hogar, comenzaremos nuestra hora de cuentos nuevamente.
A la luz de esos grandes cambios, también hay tantos proyectos e iniciativas importantes que están surgiendo de los que estamos orgullosos de ser parte. No podemos esperar para compartir!
Con toda esta transición, realmente nos hace darnos cuenta de que Casa Iyari Lo de Marcos es más grande que un espacio físico, es más grande que nosotros. Siempre supimos que este no era el hogar para siempre del proyecto y estamos inspirados y motivados para encontrar ese lugar permanente para todo lo que tenemos planeado.
Gracias por apoyarnos y compartir lo que hacemos con los demás, venir al café y donar manualidades a los ninos y llevar a sus hijos a la hora del cuento y abrir sus corazones a lo que nuestra visión es para todo esto.
