“This is my moment.” 💚
Under the bright lights, surrounded by children watching with wonder, it sounded like more than just a line from the performance.
It felt like a declaration.
A reminder that every performer has waited, practised, struggled, and believed for a moment like this—to step forward, be seen, and give everything to the audience.
But perhaps the moment did not belong only to the person in the spotlight.
It also belonged to the children looking up in amazement.
To the audience laughing together.
To everyone who forgot their worries, even just for a while.
Sometimes, our moment does not arrive with a warning.
We simply have to recognise it, step into the light, and say:
This is my moment.
