Painting a dome is no easy task... but what an incredible challenge and rewarding result! 🎨🔥
Presenting the Goddess Michicihualli Mural.
The concept for this design was created by my client Linda Jeschofnig to tell a powerful story: representing the goddess of Lake Chapala empowering humanity and celebrating female strength.
The transformation process:
To bring this to life, I first had to remove an old mural with peeling, damaged paint. After scraping the old coat and properly treating the surface, I applied the primer, sketched the layout, and let the colors flow across the curved dome.
A huge thank you to my client for placing this great challenge in my hands and fully trusting my work to make her vision a reality. ❤️

Pintar en una cúpula es una experiencia muy distinta a pintar en un canvas o una pared. Realmente disfruté mucho de este proceso, el miedo de estar en las alturas, el reto que las figuras me salieran tal y como es el boceto, la dimensión del domo hacía que se desfigurara mi imagen. La pocision de ver hacia arriba todo el tiempo. Pero todo valió la pena ya que el resultado le gustó mucho a mi cliente 🥰

Mural: Elephant 🐘

This mural was born from a very clear idea: bringing the presence of an elephant into an everyday space, but with a different approach to color and light.

I worked with violet tones and golden reflections to give it strength, depth, and an effect that changes depending on how the light enters the room. More than just painting a figure, the intention was to create a piece that feels alive within the space.

I truly enjoyed every part of the process, from building the volumes to the final details.
