Two sides. Two temps. One Styrofoam legend.

The McDonald's McDLT wasn’t just a burger, it was a concept.

McDonald’s engineered a whole two-chamber Styrofoam spaceship just so lettuce wouldn’t wilt and beef wouldn’t sweat. Cold stayed cold. Hot stayed hot. Science was involved.

The McDonald's McDLT didn’t fail because people didn’t love it.

It disappeared because the packaging was doing way too much.
