CASA VIVA Gallery CASA VIVA is as contemporary art gallery in Mexico City.

Since 2015 LIVE ART MEXICO is an independent project working with the collaboration of curators and other spaces dedicated to exhibit and promote visual and live & performing arts of local based and international artists. CASA VIVA is the current venue for LIVE ART MEXICO located in a building from 1940's providing exhibition space, studio and accommodation for artists.

Julien Isoré, pintor y artista plástico francés nacido en 1977, combina arte, derecho, biología y sociología en su trabajo. Inventor del Forest-Art y del ready-wild, sus proyectos han sido expuestos en Europa, Asia y América.

Yoshuaa es un artista multidisciplinario que comenzó su carrera como productor y DJ en 2011. Fundó « New Society Records » y « Free Society Industries » para impulsar su trabajo y el de otros artistas. Su música ha sido bien recibida y difundida por DJ’s de renombre en todo el mundo.

Poeta mexicano-nicaragüense, Pegaso Z. fusiona el género urbano con la poesía introspectiva, explorando la naturaleza y el subconsciente a través de metáforas como el caballo en « Pegaso», que simboliza su lado salvaje y libre.

FEBRUARY Verónica Peña's The Body in the Substance (2018-2022) is an ongoing project in which she considers notions of ritual, time, the counteraction of violence, and the promotion of human harmony. Through this durational work, Peña will submerge herself underwater while a metamorphosis transforms her body's appearance. In the confined space of the water tank, time presents as both suspended as if she is in a primordial or embryonic world and acutely dire with her breathing at threat.

FEBRUARY In the premiere of Bubble Breathing (2022), Miao Jiaxin stands inside a glass box, blowing soap bubbles dyed with red pigment. As a microphone amplifies each of his breaths via the speakers set up in the space, the bubbles explode onto the walls. The red pigment slowly covers the glass layer by layer as the performance progresses, marking the artist’s respiratory cycle. Through the accumulation of time, the presence of breath intensifies, and the existence and the potential threat of breath are made manifest.
