Ovation Bake Off Challenge Finals in Blantyre

Malawi’s Premier Baking Competition for Amateur Bakers is back. The Baking industry in Malawi continues to grow steadily with a lot of passionate amateur bakers catering for all needs. Whether it is a wedding, birthday party or anniversaries, across every corner of the country be assured to find one passionate baker who will be there to satisfy the sweet tooth and add colour to every ocassion.

The first season of the Ovation Bake Off Challenge, saw Adam Antoine crowned as the Champion. Adam this year, joins the panel of judges for the 2018 Challenge. Following the preliminaries the following have made it into the quarter final round which will see them bake live in front of an audience: Blandina Katimba, Agness Khonje, Samantha Trinidade, Gertrude Nkonkholo, Anna Mkandawire, Hanifa Bakali, Uzma M***a, Indhika Wickramasinghe, Kate Dzinyemba and Fathima Maharoof.

The Final showdown will be staged in Blantyre on the 9th of November for the Quarter Finals and Semi Finals and the Finals on 10th November, 2018 at Njamba Room, Sunbird Mount Soche Hotel. This will be spiced by live entertainment befitting the family entertainment that this ocassion is. There will be a children’s area and live music performance by Malawi’s celebrated Patience Namadingo and DJ Flame.
