What happens when money becomes memory?

Malawian visual artist Myck Mtika explores money, memory and value in his ongoing solo exhibition, The Last Note: Money, Memory and Value, currently showing in Mzuzu.

Inspired by the phasing out of the K20 and K50 banknotes, the exhibition reflects on how money has shaped everyday Malawian life and what we lose when its form changes.

If you’re in Mzuzu, make time to experience The Last Note.

Myck is one of the talented artists we proudly represent and sell at Kaliso Art Gallery.
