The entertainment event platform Mighty Virus Jam Session has rebranded to TMV Jam Session, it has been announced.

According to a press statement released by the entertainment stable, the rebranding paves way for the introduction of the first-ever Malawian all-DJ Festival which is set to be launched on March 29 at Aero Lounge in Lilongwe.

The organisers said through the new platform, they will continue to host high-energy events while introducing new formats, collaborations and cultural fusions to keep audiences engaged and spiced.

One of the lead organisers, Mighty Virus, said the festival is designed not only to entertain but also inspire conversations around mental health and escalate social behavior change programmes.

He said: “This is about using music as a positive force. We want to spark dialogue, break stigma and encourage positive social change while delivering the unforgettable energy our fans love.”

Mighty Virus said after the launch, the festival will transition into a two-day festival which will take place in one of the lakeshore districts in November this year.
