PUBLIC NOTICE!!

YDC Theatre wishes to inform its valued patrons and supporters that we will unfortunately not be participating in the Cape MacClear International Festival, where we were scheduled to perform on Saturday, 17 October 2026.

This decision follows unforeseen circumstances relating to contractual arrangements. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate the understanding and continued support of our audiences.

We remain committed to bringing impactful theatre experiences to our patrons and look forward to connecting with you at our upcoming performances.

Today YDC Theatre, hosted our Partners from City of Hannover, Germany for cultural exchange and networking at Stella Maris Secondary School, where our theatre club at Stella Maris Showcased their production, "Tales in Hot Tides" 2026 Atem Drama Festivals National Drama competition winning play.

YDC Theatre today is attending a Malawi SRHR Impact and Learning Forum 2026 at Ufulu Gardens in Lilongwe.

During the meeting Spencer a beneficiary of the interventions of the Udolo Wanga project highlighted how the information he was capacitated with.

He says through the program he needs to take action on issues facing fellow youth in promoting development.

The forum has been convened by Hivos SRHR fund - Malawi implementation partners.
