Happy Feast of St. Veronica!

Celebrated on July 12th, today marks the feast day of one of the most beloved figures in Christian tradition.

Known for her profound act of compassion on the Via Dolorosa, Veronica stepped forward from the crowd to wipe the sweat and blood from Jesus' face as he carried his cross to Calvary. According to the tradition, when she drew the cloth away, the true likeness of his face was miraculously imprinted upon it.
