Pac recorded it at Can-Am Studios in LA during the All Eyez on Me sessions. The beat flipped the "Ike's Rap II" sample and the whole thing became instant hip-hop history.

Likoma Island Festival pulls the plug.

In a bold move that’s got the whole region talking, Likoma Island Festival just hit pause on talks with a South African artist.

Why? The festival says it can’t look away from reports of harassment, violence, and forced removals targeting immigrants in South Africa. Their stance: “We won’t stay silent while fellow Africans face discrimination and inhumane treatment.”

So for now, it’s “NO MORE SOUTH AFRICAN ARTISTS” on the Likoma lineup. The festival is basically using its stage to make a statement louder than any headliner.

It’s art meeting activism, island-style.
