Null Island (0°, 0°) – Earth’s “Zero Poin
Null Island is the nickname for the location where the Equator (0° latitude) and the Prime Meridian (0° longitude) meet. Its coordinates are:

This point lies in the Atlantic Ocean, near the Gulf of Guinea off the west coast of Africa. It is not a real island, despite the name.
Why is it called “Null Island”?
