WHEN DEATH FINDS ME…

I hope it whispers,

“Come now. The fight is done.”

I hope it takes my hand gently, like an old friend who understands why I am so tired.

I hope it says,

“You have carried enough. Let me hold this weight for you now.”

And I hope, for the first time in a long time, everything becomes quiet.

No more pretending.
No more hurting.
No more pain.
No more holding on.
Just peace.
Just stillness.
Just rest.

But until that day comes, I am still here.

Still breathing.
Still fighting.
Still creating.
Still loving.
Still living.

Because maybe the greatest victory isn't pretending that the fight doesn't hurt.

Maybe it's continuing to live while carrying the truth that it does.

And when my story eventually reaches its final page, I hope I can say:

I was tired. I was hurting. But I lived. ❤️

I WANT TO SHARE SOMETHING TODAY… AND I’M NOT GOING TO SUGARCOAT IT.

For a while, the trembling was mainly in my right hand because of Parkinson’s.

But now, there's something I honestly didn’t want to see…

Oops… my left hand has decided to join the party too. 😅

Parkinson’s really said, “Why should one hand have all the fun?” 🤦🏽‍♀️😂

But behind the joke is a reality I refuse to hide.

Yes, it scares me sometimes.
Yes, it frustrates me.
Yes, there are moments when I ask myself, “What’s next?”

But I refuse to turn every new symptom into a funeral for the life I still have.

My hands may tremble.
My determination doesn’t have to.
I can try to adapt.
I can learn how to do things with my trembling hand.

I can have bad days without becoming a bad version of myself.

And I can acknowledge what is happening without allowing it to define who I am.

I’m not going to pretend everything is fine.

It isn’t😭

But I’m also not going to pretend that all my diagnosis gets the final word.

So yes, Parkinson’s… apparently we're upgrading from one trembling hand to a two-hand subscription. 😅

Fine.

Bring whatever comes next. I’ll meet it standing or adapting, or resting, or taking it one day at a time. But I’ll meet it.

Because I am still here.

And I am nowhere near finished. 🔥❤️

ASSUMPTION DAY 🤍🕊️

Today, I look at a Mother who knew what it meant to love deeply, suffer silently, and still keep believing.

Mary watched her Son suffer when every part of her must have been screaming to save Him. She carried pain that no words could ever fully explain. Yet through the tears, the uncertainty, and the heartbreak, she never stopped trusting God.

And perhaps that is why her story touches the hearts of those who are silently fighting battles nobody sees.

Mother Mary, today I place before you every tear that I have hidden, every pain I have endured in silence, every night I'm wondering how much more I can take, and every battle i'm fighting without telling the world. 🤍

When I am tired, remind me that weakness is not the end.

When my heart breaks, remind me that broken hearts can still carry faith.

When I feel forgotten, remind me that God sees what nobody else sees.

And when I can no longer find the strength to pray, let my silence become my prayer. 🕊️

On this Assumption Day, may Mary wrap her loving arms around every person who is suffering silently, every mother carrying an invisible burden, every child fighting a battle, every lonely soul, and everyone who is desperately trying to stay strong.

Some wounds don't bleed.
Some tears never fall.
Some battles are fought behind smiles.
And some prayers are whispered only inside the heart.

Mother Mary, hear them all. 🤍

Sometimes, the person smiling in front of you is fighting a war they have never found the words to explain.

And when they finally speak about their pain, don’t be so quick to call it attention-seeking.

They aren’t asking you to fix them.
They aren’t asking for pity.

They’re simply asking to be heard without being judged.

You may not understand their battle.

You may not have the answers.

You may not be able to make the pain disappear.

But you can listen.

You can stay.

You can say:

“I hear you. I see you. You matter.”

Never underestimate what a few genuine words can do for someone who has been silently carrying too much.

You don’t always have to save someone.

Sometimes, just reminding them that they matter is powerful enough. ❤️

STOP EXPLAINING YOURSELF TO PEOPLE WHO ARE COMMITTED TO MISUNDERSTANDING YOU.

Some people don't want the truth, they want a version of you they can judge.

Speak up? “Too emotional.”
Stay quiet? “You’ve changed.”
Set boundaries? Suddenly you’re the villain.
Say “NO”? Apparently you’ve developed an attitude. 😏

At some point, you have to stop auditioning for people who already decided who you are.

Let them talk.
Let them misunderstand.
Let them create their own stories.

You don't owe everyone an explanation.

Protect your peace. Keep your boundaries. Walk your path.

Because the moment you stop begging to be understood is the moment you finally understand your own worth. 🔥

Not everyone deserves access to you and that's not cruelty. That's self-respect.
