🎱 ULTIMATE POOL MAURITIUS EVENTS – IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL PLAYERS 🎱

As we continue to raise the standards of competitive pool in Mauritius, all participants are kindly reminded to familiarise themselves with the official event regulations before attending any Ultimate Pool Mauritius tournament.

👔 Dress Code
• Formal shoes for men and closed ballerinas or closed footwear for women.
• Formal pants for both men and women.
• Polo shirts, approved club polos, or official Ultimate Pool jerseys are permitted.
• Club polos are allowed provided they comply with all logo requirements outlined below.
• Players are not permitted to wear any logo, branding, or insignia of any local or international pool, billiards, or cue sports association or organisation on their polo shirts unless specifically authorised by Ultimate Pool Mauritius.
• Any player wearing such logos or non-compliant attire may be requested to change into an appropriate polo shirt before being allowed to compete.
• Jeans, dresses, skirts, sport shoes, caps, hats, sunglasses, shorts, sandals, and open-ended footwear are strictly prohibited.
• Failure to comply with the dress code will result in automatic disqualification.

🏥 Medical Exceptions
• Players with medical conditions affecting compliance with the dress code must notify the Tournament Directors in advance.
• A medical certificate may be requested and approval will be at the discretion of the Tournament Directors.

⏰ Punctuality
• Tournament play starts at 09:00 sharp.
• All matches will follow a fixed schedule.
• Loss of frames may be applied for every 5 minutes of lateness.

🤝 Etiquette & Conduct
• Players must remain seated in their designated chair when not at the table.
• No breaks are permitted during matches except toilet breaks between frames.
• Foul language, misconduct, or disruptive behaviour may result in warnings and subsequent frame penalties.
• The referee's decision is final.
• Players must comply with all instructions issued by Tournament Directors.

📹 Live Streaming & Media
• Matches may be livestreamed throughout the event.
• By entering the tournament, players automatically consent to being filmed and photographed.
• Event photographs and videos may be used for promotional purposes.

📜 Tournament Regulations
• Ultimate Pool Mauritius (UPM) reserves the right to amend, modify, interpret, or introduce additional rules and regulations at any time where deemed necessary for the smooth running, fairness, integrity, and proper administration of the tournament.
• Any such decision or amendment made by UPM and the Tournament Directors shall be final and binding on all participants.

🎱 ULTIMATE POOL MAURITIUS RANKING SYSTEM 2026 🎱

We are pleased to officially introduce the Ultimate Pool Mauritius Ranking System.

This ranking system has been designed to reward consistency, performance, and participation throughout the season across our various competitions. Players will accumulate ranking points based on their results in sanctioned events, allowing us to establish the official Ultimate Pool Mauritius Rankings for both the Men's and Ladies' categories.

✅ Ultimate Pool Mens Series (including UPM festival single event)
✅ Ultimate Pool Ladies Series (including UPM festival single event)
✅ Monday/Thursday Night Singles
✅ Monday/Thursday Night Pairs
✅ Ladies Pairs
✅ Mixed Pairs

📌 Important Notice

The official rankings generated through this system will be used for seeding and player selection in the Ultimate Pool Mauritius local and international events. Players are therefore encouraged to participate regularly and maximise their ranking points throughout the season.

⭐ Road to the Ultimate Mauritius Pro Series 2027

At the conclusion of the 2026 ranking season, the top 64 players in the Men's Ranking System will earn an automatic qualification spot for the Ultimate Mauritius Pro Series 2027, rewarding those who demonstrate consistency and excellence throughout the year.

The objective of this system is to encourage regular participation, recognise top-performing players, and create a structured pathway for future national and international opportunities.

We encourage all players to compete, earn points, and climb the rankings throughout the season.

🎱🏆 Kickers Snooker Championship 2026: Yasin Sumser Crowned Champion 🏆🎱

We are pleased to announce that yesterday's final was truly one for the history books, with both players battling fiercely until the very last frame.

In the deciding frame, the score was tied at 50-50, forcing a re-spotted black to determine the winner. The intensity and quality of play showcased the talent and determination of both finalists. In the end, Yasin Sumser held his nerve and successfully potted the final black to secure a memorable victory over the highly talented Kishen Ittoo.
