Last week, our young artists travelled to Venice, Italy through art! 🎭

We learned about the centuries-old tradition of the Venetian Carnival and the beautiful masks that have become its symbol. Inspired by classic Venetian designs, the children created their own unique masks, full of colour, imagination, and creativity.

A wonderful journey through history, culture, and art! ✨

Would your child enjoy discovering the world through art? 🎨

I spent a lovely morning at OBOĒ Garden, leading an art workshop for a 10-year-old birthday girl and her friends. 🎨

What a talented group of young artists! Your bright, cheerful artworks made my day. Thank you for such a fun and creative time! ✨

First time exploring soft pastels with my elder group ✨
A beautiful still life from observation — and every artwork turned out so unique. Loved this session 🤍

Recently in class, we took a little journey to Madagascar 🌿
The children discovered the incredible baobab trees — so huge and unique that they almost feel unreal.
While learning about perspective, we explored how objects appear smaller and less contrasted as they move further away. Using dry pastels and pencils, the students created their own landscapes, some even adding tiny human figures to show just how enormous these trees truly are.
A beautiful mix of imagination, observation, and learning — and a reminder of how art helps us see the world differently.

As part of our “Around the World” course, we recently explored the beauty and mystery of Geisha culture 🌸

Students from different age groups created their own Geisha portraits using acrylic paint, while learning about the history, lifestyle, and traditional costumes of Geishas.

It was not only a cultural journey, but also a great exercise in portrait drawing—especially capturing unique facial features and ethnic character.

So proud of their focus and creativity ✨

In our recent art project, children aged 7–11 explored how to paint a dancing figure and express movement through dynamic, expressive brushstrokes. As part of our ongoing course “Around the World,” we traveled to Spain and discovered the passionate dance of flamenco.

The students watched short videos of flamenco performances and admired the beautiful flowing dresses of the dancers. Inspired by the rhythm, energy, and dramatic poses, the children created their own paintings of dancing figures, using bold brushstrokes to capture motion, swirling skirts, and the lively spirit of the dance.

Last week, students of different age groups created a vibrant mixed media artwork inspired by India as part of our Around the World course.
We explored textures and layers using stencils, sponges, acrylic paints, brushes, white markers, and oil pastels. Each piece turned out bold, colorful, and completely unique — just like its young artist ✨

I love seeing how the same theme transforms through different ages and personalities. 🌍🎨

Last week our 12y.o.+ students were working on something that seems simple — a cube and a sphere. But in reality, this is where real drawing begins.

We explored light and shadow, learned to see shapes instead of “objects,” observed reflections, core shadows, cast shadows, and how form turns in space. Understanding these fundamentals is the foundation of all drawing — from still life to portraits and landscapes.

So proud of how focused and thoughtful they were during this important step in their artistic journey 🤍

This week our youngest and middle groups (5–7 y.o. & 8–10 y.o.) created beautiful Chinese lantern paintings in anticipation of the Chinese Spring Festival.

We explored traditional patterns, decorative motifs, symmetry and warm festive colors. The children were so engaged — carefully adding details, repeating ornaments, and discovering how design tells a cultural story.

I love watching how even the youngest artists can work with rhythm and pattern when they feel inspired ❤️

So proud of their focus, creativity and joyful energy!

This week in our 12+ art class we explored Cubism 🎨

Inspired by artists like Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, students painted a still life from observation — but interpreted it in a cubist style. Instead of copying what they see in a traditional way, they learned to break objects into geometric shapes, explore multiple viewpoints, and rethink composition.

It’s always exciting to see how differently each student sees the same setup. Cubism helps them become braver, more analytical, and more creative at the same time.

So proud of their thoughtful and expressive works 💛
