Team Mauritius – Nations Cup 2026, Gibraltar 🇲🇺
What an incredible tournament held in a magnificent venue in Gibraltar. Our sincere thanks go to the Gibraltar Pool Association, especially Jonathan Collado and his dedicated team, for their outstanding hospitality and flawless organisation.
We also extend our gratitude to the European BlackBall Association (EBA) for the invitation and for facilitating all the necessary arrangements to ensure our players could travel safely and participate in this prestigious event.
For only our second participation at the Nations Cup, Team Mauritius delivered a commendable performance. Although we did not qualify for the quarter-finals or playoffs, the team showed great determination and spirit throughout the competition. Team B secured 8 victories, while Team A added 4 wins—an achievement we can be proud of.
Our players performed exceptionally well both on and off the table, earning the respect of their opponents and gaining valuable experience from competing against top international talents. This exposure will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and development of blackball pool in Mauritius.
Special thanks to the Team Manager of Mauritius, Mrs. Varsha Kumar, and our two respective captains Shameet Dewnarain and Kavesh Nemdharry for leading their respective team.
