Well done to Metalmalta for winning the Wasteland Cup 2026 edition 👏👏👏

He won 2-0 against Bilorca in the final, played on the infamous cursed pitch.

And with that, the Wasteland Cup 2026 comes to an end. A big thank you to all the participants who made this event possible and we'll see you again next year !!

Greatly hath he been pleased—and most wondrously surprised—by the tribute bestowed upon him by the neighbouring Kingdom of Panadmonium. In his boundless wisdom, the Duke hath seen fit to accept this offering, and decrees that it be kept within the halls of his castle, there to be made available unto his subjects.

Yet mark this well: these relics are not to be handled as common wares. They are to be approached with reverence befitting their worth, and with hands both steady and obedient. Let none be so foolish as to misuse, defile, or neglect them.

For the Duke’s mercy is not without end. Those who transgress shall answer for their folly, and the price shall be steep—coin if they are fortunate… flesh and suffering if they are not. And for the most grievous of offenses, death shall come swift, though not without torment.

Greetings Bloodbowl coaches,

Here is a Wasteland Cup 2026 update. Congratulations to Metalmalta for winning against Rone, to face Bilorca in the final. Well done to Rone for making it so far 👏🏼👏🏼

As per long standing tradition, the final of the Wasteland Cup has to be played at the Dojo, using the infamous cursed pitch, which has just received a new blessing, courtesy of the Man, the Myth, the Legend.

May I remind both participants that the Highlander rule is in effect. Who will win? Who's name will be placed on the plaque (at a random angle) for all to see? Who shall be the lucky one to shake His Holey Hand?

Good luck to both participants (you'll need it 😅)

*News Flash*

It seems that the reign of our Duke has come to an end. Billy the Kid used ancient Lizardmen rituals to summon the waters from the sky.

This put the Man, the Myth, the Legend at a disadvantage as the sun always shines in the land of Bretonnia and he was unfamiliar with the water falling from the sky.

Congratulations to Billy the Kid for making it into the finals and restoring the balance in the Bloodbowl universe. 👏👏

Legends speak of a curse affecting the participants of the Wasteland Cup, cursing their team and dice. Many coaches have tried various arcane rituals to dispel this ancient curse, all in vain.

Two brave coaches, Jean Mark Meli and David Mangion travelled to a land far away, a virgin territory, covered in snow, where no Wasteland Cup was ever played.

Here, these coaches braved the coldest of weathers, the darkest of nights, to escape the curse.

And yet, rumours have it that curse reaches far and one of the players attracted its attention. The virgin land has now been tainted and somewhere in a dark corner, it's master grows stronger...
