โจ๐ฌ The Gozo Film Festival 2025 has come to a closeโand what a ride it was!
Three days of films, drama and laughter under Gozoโs night sky (with a nice north-easterly breeze to keep us fresh). What a turnout!
Before we all start counting down to next year, itโs time for the best part: saying THANK YOU ๐.
THANK YOU to every single person who joined us.
Whether you came to one of our workshops, a single screening, or camped out with us for all three nights, you brought the magic with you.
Thank you to the filmmakers, cast and crews of shorts and feature films alike: your stories lit up our screens and our hearts โค๏ธ. It was a privilege to host your work. Keep creating magic!
From the first night, a special cheer for Ciao Ciao cast and crew, director Keith Albert Tedesco, producer Fabrizio Fenech, and thank you for sharing your very engaging film which has brought laughter and entertainment to the audience.
On the second night, a big thank you to all the cast and crew of the spectacular thriller Castillo, director Abigail Mallia and scriptwriter Carlos Debattista. Thank you for joining us in a sparkling Q&A session. So fresh and personal.
Thank you to Gints Zilbalodis for creating the amazing animation Flow, which brought warmth to our hearts.
And of course, a big round of applause ๐ to the other directors, cast and crew who blended seamlessly into the crowd - Bruce, Antonella, Mikhail, Bernard, Mike, Franco, Jeanette, Laura, Adam, Rachel, Daniel, Manwel, Fรฉlix, Francis, Marisabelle, Maria Rosa, Jean, Peter, Michael Carol, Clara, Mark, Analise, Simone, Frida, Martin (and many more!). Your presence made the festival even more special and made us feel like family ๐ค.
