Kinemastik NGO is responsible for the Kinemastik International Short Film Festival and a year-round cultural programme.

Kinemastik is an NGO responsible for the Kinemastik International Short Film Festival and a year-round cultural programme. Kinemastik links young filmmakers in Malta to the world of cinema and provides them with a platform for their work, through local screenings as well as through worldwide distribution of locally produced work. Kinemastik has hosted a number of international filmmakers and profe

ssionals to provide master classes and workshops for the local industry. Kinemastik has a partnership with Malta Arts Council through the Investment in Cultural Organizations fund. Kinemastik are:

There are several reasons why, most of them private, therefore complicated, to why there is no Kinemastik international short film festival this summer. We tried as hard as we could to make it work, until it was time to let it go gently. We are currently trying to schedule the screenings for some time in November perhaps, so let's look forward to that.
