👋 Meet the Artist | Duška Malešević
An interdisciplinary visual artist with an MA in Psychology of Art from Sapienza University of Rome, Duška Malešević works across photography, objects, light and text. Her practice explores what remains when the subject is absent - a trace, a fragment, a shift of light, or a space that holds memory without describing it.
With a background in psychology of art, Duška has worked alongside marginalised communities, using creative practices to support emotional expression, participation and the reclaiming of personal narratives. Her work creates alternative spaces where shared experiences can become a starting point for connection and imagining different futures.
For Inside Voices: What the Room Holds, Duška extends her exploration of restraint as a creative method, using artistic expression not to reveal, but to hold.
