London-based guitar virtuoso Tom Ford, will flavour the evening with his distinctive sound and explosive solos. A key figure in the London and international music scene, he has worked with Chris Dave, Reuben James, and Keyon Harrold, and released three critically acclaimed albums of his own.

Ben Holroyd is an emerging drummer from the north of Scotland whose passion for straight-ahead jazz shines through his energetic and engaging performances. After making his mark on the Scottish jazz scene, he will be joined by Maltese musicians Simon Mercieca, Kyle Drakard, and Alan Dโ€™Ugo for a quartet performance on the 19th, and a duo performance with Mercieca on the 20th.

Kyle Drakard (KYL0), Patrick Cutajar (Ricky), and Joseph Grech (JG) โ€”three local musicians whose paths have crossed through countless projects over the years, come together with Sicilian saxophonist, composer, and arranger Jossy Botte for an explosive set of fusion, funk, drum and bass, and experimental sounds. A graduate of the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, Jossy is recognised for blending contemporary jazz language with adventurous improvisation and powerful energy.

Rooted in groove and improvisation, the project shifts between groovy rhythms, spontaneous interaction, with each musician bringing their own voice and influences into the mix.

Simon Mercieca is a Maltese-born, Scottish-based pianist and composer whose original music is inspired by his adopted Celtic homeland. His work has been presented at festivals including the Malta Jazz Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe.

On Thursday, Simon will perform as a quartet together with Warren Galea, Oliver Degabriele, and Ben Holroyd.

On Friday, he will perform as a trio with Maltese bassist Joseph Grech and Scottish drummer Ben Holroyd.

The first edition of โ€˜Stuff I Likeโ€™ was packed, and we are genuinely so grateful for the amazing turnout, love and funky dance moves throughout the night... so we decided to do it again!

Join us at Offbeat for another intimate evening of slow, jazzy, soulful covers led by Adel Montanaro, alongside Patryk Cutajar, Guze Camilleri, Oliver Degabriele, Sean Borg and Jossy Botte.
