2026 is only a few hours away, and as a new year comes into our lives, we want to thank 2025 for being such a wonderful and adventurous year for Sustain-Delay .⋆

We’d like to thank the , and all of our sponsors that supported us throughout the two years that Sustain-Delay was up and running ⋆⭒˚.⋆

Most of all, we would like to thank our audiences for always being there for us. Sustain-Delay was a new and daring concept for Malta, and when we started out, we weren't sure if people would be interested, and if they would turn up.

But they did respond, and how!

Turns out, people were interested and were more than pleasantly surprised. The lesson learnt, including to us, is that Maltese audiences are way more curious and open-minded than we sometimes give them credit for.

Sustain-Delay is a shortlisted nominee for the Best Multdisciplinary Project category for this year’s Premju għall-Arti!...

Klaus is London producer Nick Sigsworth. Having debuted on the legendary R&S Records with the Tusk EP, he later launched his own imprint, Tanum, pushing his explorations into a much deeper, more abstract territory. As a member of the 1-800-Dinosaur DJ collective, he has performed extensively across Europe and North America, weaving together the rich heritage of UK sound system culture—from roots and dub through jungle, garage, and beyond.

*Join us for our next workshop 𝗛𝘆𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗜𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 *

It takes trust to let someone alter your sound. And it takes careful listening to creatively transform someone else's improvisation. In this workshop, you’re invited to bring your instruments — whether they’re electronic or otherwise — to transform them through collective improvisation. Sound makers of all levels and backgrounds can join, whether you’re an acoustic guitarist, an electro-curious violinist, a synthesist looking for an acoustic touch or a poet that wants to sound more like Darth Vader.

Participants are invited to playfully explore different means of live sound processing: both analogue (tape, filters, amplitude modulation, envelope followers) and digital (granular processing, filters, frequency shifting, karplus strong).

You can bring any type of instrument (including your own voice) for this last workshop in Sustain-Delay’s 2025 programme.
