Where do I begin? Feeling a lot of emotions right now. Gratitude, accomplishment, exhaustion......
This was one of the biggest and most challenging festivals I ever organised. All the universe was against us: Covid protocols, general elections, weather and more. But one thing I was certain, that the rock and metal community will show its force and perseverance and will overcome anything that stands in its way. We are used to be the underdogs so bring it on, we can handle anything!
Let me first start with my absolute life force and the only person on earth that can give me the courage and support to do things like these. My wife Miriam. Thank you and I love you. ❤️
Secondly, the amazing Steve Lombardo. Master of frequencies and red wine :) As always, delivering impeccable sound with true passion towards music and a true friend you can rely on.
Alan Desira from Twilight Sound & Lighting and all his crew for the amazing sound system and help.
Jim Tobin from Metall Insula Promotions & Daniel P. Warrington for backline and stage management. All nights on standby at the sides of the stage ready to assist with whatever the band playing needs.
Geo Debono for the amazing light show, engineering a unique show for every band! Simply fantastic!
All crew at City Theatre.
Our main sponsor 8.6
Nick Grima, Noel Mifsud, Michael Bugeja and all who helped with promotion or in a way or another with the festival. Thank you!
All the bands who were all on time for soundchecks and delivering awesome performances! Super professional and super cooperative!
Jonathan Mifsud from Jonmifphotography for his amazing talent to immortalise this event in his awesome photos.
Finally all of you who attended these festivals and made them special and ones to remember! We cannot do this without your support!
Anyone whom I forgot to mention, please forgive me, I'm still in zombie mode. :)
For the next one 😜
Thank you all
Shawn🤘
