“Anduril, the Flame of the West”
Aragorn’s legendary sword from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. Reforged from the shards of Narsil by the Elves of Rivendell. A blade to strike fear into the very evil of Mordor.
Alex wanted to show his love for the Lord of the Rings with this piece. The background consists of parts from two maps: The lonely Mountain at the top depicting Smaug, and the Shire at the bottom.
