Hoi Polloi Academy is expanding its programmes for 2026 and beyond. If you’re serious about arts education, love working with young performers, and can balance creativity with structure, read on.

🎭 Teacher of Acting & Speaking

Ideal for practitioners with strong foundations in acting technique, voice, confidence-building, and performance skills.

For vocal educators who enjoy ensemble work, musical storytelling, and nurturing young voices in a structured but joyful environment.

Looking for creative educators who can design engaging, age-appropriate visual arts activities that complement performance-based learning.

🌟 A huge shoutout to Malta and their incredible project for choosing The Creative Hub as the home for their Drama and Dance sessions over the past five weeks!

It’s been an absolute joy hosting these vibrant, creative workshops lead by and @vella_sarah — and our space has felt especially alive thanks to the neurodiverse learners who brought their energy, imagination, and that little bit of extra magic. 💫

Here’s to more inclusive, expressive, and joyful arts experiences for all. 🎭🩰✨

🌧️⚡ Outside it was all rain and thunder, but inside our walls, something magical was happening. ✨

This afternoon, the HPA’s Play-in-Production and Musikidz students filled the studios with joy as they reunited with friends to watch the magic they created just three weeks ago. 🎭🎶

We loved holding their laughter, excitement, and pride — moments like these are what make our spaces come alive. 💜 Well done, kiddos — you made us proud too! 🌟

🎭✨ IT’S SEPTEMBER! ✨🎭
Back-to-school season is officially open — and what a transition it is for us at Hoi Polloi Malta.

As we wrap up our 2024/25 year with the close of The Creative Express 2025, all the world is a stage. (ending this Thursday with a wonderful Parents’ Sharing 🌍💫), we simultaneously launch our 2025/26 scholastic year and our artistic season.

And what a week it is:

🌟 The HPA presents Disney's Dare to Dream JR by our and takes the stage at the VCT — officially kickstarting our artistic season.

🧙‍♀️ The Hoi Polloi Theatre Company is in full-speed rehearsals for Hocus Pocus - the pantoween — back after 20 years!

🎓 The Academy’s scholastic year 2025/26 is shaping up with new programmes, new opportunities, and another year of growth. Booking for our programmes is open through our website https://hoi-polloi.pembee.app/

🤝 Our studios, The Creative Hub, are welcoming collaborators, offering space to rehearse, explore, and create — part of our ongoing commitment to support the arts community.

🌍 And in true all for one and one for all spirit — three of our HPA students Laura Cardona, Erika Bonello and Emily Georgea Dimech, will soon be flying both the Hoi Polloi and Maltese flags all the way to New York! Their fundraising showcase is on the horizon, and we couldn’t be prouder. 💙✈️🎶

None of this would be possible without our amazing teams, our students, parents, colleagues, and performers who believe in the vision and form part of this theatre community.

Here’s to another year of creating, learning, and dreaming together. 💙
