Event Sales person and Set-Up Coordinator

Role Description

This is a full-time Corporate Sales Executive & Setup Coordinator role located in Qormi. For this role, you will be responsible for sales, communication, customer service and be on-site.

- Communication and Customer Service skills
- Understand client needs and tailor customised event proposals and packages accordingly.
- Maintain relationship through consistent communication and follow-ups with client stated
- Schedule meetings: online, on-site or at the office with clients.
- Ensure that setup meets client's request by supervise the setup team during installation and ensure timely, accurate setup.
- Provide a layout plan for clients with services booked with Commander Jay Events & Entertainment
- Conduct quality checks on all setups, especially client branding, lighting, AV, and furniture.

We are looking for talented and detail-oriented Event Decorators to bring our clients’ visions to life. If you have an eye for design, love working with different themes, and thrive in a fast-paced event environment – we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop stunning event designs across weddings, corporate functions, private parties, and more.
- Manage on-site setup of decorations, including backdrops, centerpieces, lighting, floral arrangements, and staging.
- Ensure on-site décor installation and takedown run smoothly
- Stay ahead of décor trends and bring fresh ideas to the table

Requirements:

- Creative, detail-oriented, and highly organised
- Previous experience in event setups, styling, decorating, or related creative roles.
- Strong sense of design and trend awareness (themes, colour palettes, layout).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Job Vacancy: Driver & Event Support

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking driver to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

Delivering items to various locations on time
Assisting with the setup and dismantling of event equipment
Working flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends as per the roster
Key Requirements:

Valid EU driver’s license (Licence C preferred)
Willingness to work at various times, including evenings and weekends
Good physical fitness for event setup/dismantling
A clean police conduct record is essential
