Sisters are friends and partners and soul mates. Sisters share stories and clothes and tears and wine. Sisters have conversations, silly and honest, deep and enlightening. Their work is all that and more.

2011 saw the conception of Maltese sister-duo The New Victorians, following their success at the Alchemy Songwriting Competition in the U.S. In 2015, they launched their debut album Seeker Seek

er, with singles like Keep Me In Love, and then in 2018 released Silence, the EP with-which they opened for multi-platinum artist Anastacia, on her European Tour – Evolution, and for the BBC Concert Orchestra in 2019. The sisters also have a keen interest in the dramaturgical potential of live sound-manipulation and original electronic music in theatre. In 2018 their theatrical debut MARA played to sold out houses as part of the Valletta European Capital of Culture, and at the National Theatre of Scotland's Exchange Festival, before heading to the Vault Festival in Waterloo in 2019. Following its London run, MARA made its Edinburgh Fringe Festival debut at the Pleasance in August 2019. The duo were also commissioned two electronic music theatre pieces in 2018; Rave & Behave, a children's show for Ziguzajg International Arts Festival, and VII (Sette), a Teatru Malta commission, which sold out its run at Fort St. Finally, The New Victorians were awarded Artist of The Year by the Arts Council Malta in April 2019. Most recently the duo Composed, Directed and Performed in TINGO: The Tuneless Bird, an original promenade piece featuring large-scale puppets that toured around Malta and Gozo.

We're super proud to be working with a stellar all-female team on 's upcoming original piece - Ġimgħa L-Ħabs. This has already been such a rewarding, life-affirming project. From R&Ding with a lovely bunch of actors, to giving a songwriting workshop to the extremely generous and open-hearted women in prison; it's been properly wholesome, and our work is only just getting started. (Will these cheeky snippets ever make it to stage? Who knows. You'll just have to buy your tickets to find out 🙊👀). Seriously though, support this great work! has written a phenomenally researched, hard-hitting piece, and leads one amazing ensemble with vision and energy. A joy to brush shoulders with them and get back in the room.

We're sooooo proud of our girl ⭐ Over the past weeks we've been busy cooking up some of her winninggggg songs; as mentor and as music producer. It's been a joy to vibeeee in the studio with such a natural talent (even if we were overtired and hysterical half the time 🤣). What a class act. Phenomenal vocals, a super work ethic and a killer mindset. Some special BTS memories right here, with the benefit of hindsight now....magic was being made before our very eyes 🥺 We'll be cheering you on for whatever comes next legend!

We kick off our Christmas gigs next week!
